Front-End Engineer

About the role

HelloGov AI is a fast‑growing gov‑tech company that uses artificial intelligence to simplify government services. We are looking for a Front‑End Engineer to join our on‑site team in Brickell, Miami. You will create intuitive, AI‑enhanced user interfaces for our website, checkout flows, and both admin and client portals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Design scalable, reusable UI components and front‑end architecture from Figma designs.
• Implement dynamic, document‑driven workflows and real‑time features with WebSockets.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and manage authentication with Auth0.
• Deploy applications on Vercel, monitor performance with Sentry, and own features from development through production.
• Collaborate with Engineering Lead, back‑end engineers, product and design teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time (Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm) in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• REST and GraphQL API integration.
• WebSockets (or Socket.io) and real‑time programming.
• Auth0 or OAuth authentication.
• Version control with GitHub and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Deployment on Vercel and monitoring with Sentry.
• Figma for design hand‑off.
