Front End Developer - React

About the role

We are seeking a Front‑End Developer specialized in React to join a high‑impact team building web applications that support mission‑critical solutions for the U.S. defense community. The role involves designing scalable front‑end architectures, integrating AI‑enhanced UI components, and delivering interactive mapping experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable React applications using Redux and RTK Query.
• Develop AI‑embedded UI components and modular widget frameworks.
• Create high‑performance location‑based experiences with LeafletJS or similar mapping SDKs.
• Integrate and optimise complex RESTful APIs for seamless data flow.
• Implement responsive UI using Material UI, CSS3 and modern design patterns.
• Champion code quality and automated testing with Jest or Cypress.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience with React, Redux and TypeScript in production.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (current TS/SCI preferred).
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (2‑3 days onsite in Austin, TX).
