Front Desk Receptionist - Dance Studio

About the role

Fusion Dance Centre, part of Ensemble Performing Arts, is looking for an organized and outgoing receptionist for its studio in Roselle Park, NJ. The role is in-person and involves a variety of clerical and administrative duties, from greeting clients to answering phones and handling email. It is also described as a Front Office Coordinator position. The pay is $18 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist dancers, families and visitors, and keep the front desk and lobby organized and welcoming.
• Answer phones, take messages and respond to emails, and answer questions about classes, schedules and studio activities.
• Assist families with class registration and general account questions, and direct questions or concerns to the right team member.
• Update student and family information accurately.
• Help with invoicing and accounts receivable.
• Assist with filing, data entry and other routine office tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service or office experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional communication skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm during busy periods.
• Dependability and availability for the required schedule.

Required skills

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Docs.

Schedule

• Sunday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
