Front Desk Agent – Guest Services

About the role

Join the guest services team at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center as a Front Desk Agent. You will be the first friendly face guests see, handling check‑ins, reservations and guest requests while ensuring a smooth, enjoyable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries about reservations, amenities and local attractions.
• Process payments, receipts and perform daily auditing tasks.
• Communicate guest needs to housekeeping, maintenance and management.
• Maintain an organized, clean front‑desk area.
• Resolve guest concerns with patience and problem‑solving skills.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or front‑desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and reservation systems (training provided).
• Calm, friendly demeanor in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and team‑oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional overnight Night Audit shifts.
