Freelance Medical Reviewer (Remote, US)

About the role

Swoop, through its MyHealthTeam brand, is seeking freelance medical reviewers to ensure the scientific accuracy of health‑related content. This remote position allows qualified professionals to work from any location, reviewing articles, symptom guides, treatment descriptions, and study summaries.

Key responsibilities

• Assess medical content for factual correctness, clarity, and compliance with current clinical guidelines.
• Identify and correct inaccuracies related to symptoms, treatments, medical terminology, and study findings.
• Provide clear, lay‑person‑friendly language suggestions while maintaining scientific integrity.
• Meet agreed‑upon review deadlines and communicate any concerns to the editorial team.

Required profile

• Physicians (MD or DO) who have completed residency training, registered dietitians, or psychologists.
• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
• Comfort with reviewing a variety of medical topics; can decline subjects that feel uncomfortable.
