Framer I – StudioBuilt

About the role

We are seeking a motivated team player to join our StudioBuilt factory in Cuero, Texas as a Framer I. This entry‑level position offers the chance to learn framing in a fast‑growing modular housing venture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rough and finished carpentry work, including wall and roof framing, layout, sheathing, and sheetrock installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to build structures accurately.
• Measure, mark, cut, and shape lumber, plastic, drywall, and fiberglass using hand and power tools.
• Operate transit, lasers, and levels to ensure precise alignment.
• Maintain a clean, obstruction‑free work area and adhere to all safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience on construction sites or in a modular manufacturing facility.
• Ability to lift 75 lb, stand for 8+ hours, and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Willingness to work overtime as scheduled and follow written and verbal instructions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with nail guns, saws, sanders, drills, planers, and other carpentry tools.
• Experience using measuring devices such as transit, laser levels, and traditional levels.
