Founding Talent Lead – Build Recruiting Engine

About the role

We are looking for a Founding Talent Lead to create and run the recruiting function for a fast‑growing, venture‑backed AI‑native insurance claims platform. Reporting directly to the founders, you will design the hiring engine from scratch and partner with engineering, sales, claims and operations leaders to attract top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end hiring lifecycle: write compelling job profiles, design interview processes, make hiring decisions, extend offers and close candidates.
• Proactively source passive talent through outbound outreach, network referrals and creative channel discovery.
• Build, evaluate and continuously improve scalable recruitment systems, processes and ATS workflows.
• Design and run internal employee‑referral programs to leverage the team’s networks.
• Collaborate on onboarding, HR processes and early performance‑management frameworks to ensure smooth new‑hire integration.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of full‑lifecycle recruiting experience, preferably in fast‑growing startup environments.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite five days a week in either New York City or London.
• Proven track record of building recruitment workflows and sourcing processes from the ground up.

• Base salary $90,000 – $140,000 per year.
