Founding Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for our first in‑house recruiter to build and own the full recruiting lifecycle at SelaSela, the market‑leading AI voice agent for mortgage lenders. You will shape the sourcing strategy, candidate experience, and hiring processes from the ground up as we scale from 15 to ~70 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Run end‑to‑end recruiting for technical and non‑technical positions, from outreach to offer acceptance.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, outbound sequences, referrals, and employer branding.
• Set up and manage our ATS and recruiting stack (e.g., Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse) from scratch.
• Partner directly with the CEO and hiring managers to define role requirements and move quickly.
• Craft a candidate experience that reflects SelaSela’s values and track pipeline health.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, primarily in fast‑growing early‑stage companies.
• Proven ability to source and close passive candidates, especially for technical and product roles.
• First‑or‑one recruiter at a startup, comfortable building processes without a playbook.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to work four days per week onsite.

Required skills

• LinkedIn Recruiter (or equivalent sourcing tools).
• Experience with ATS platforms such as Ashby, Lever, or Greenhouse.
• Outbound campaign creation and management.
