Forward Deployed (Value Acceleration) Consultant - Life Sciences AI

About the role

Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed (Value Acceleration) Consultant for its Life Sciences AI team, working remotely from the New York City metro area. The role sits at the intersection of customer engagement and AI-native platform delivery: it designs, implements and optimizes automated business process solutions ("Blueprints") using Agentforce and Life Sciences Cloud, and owns the roadmap and feature lifecycle of reusable accelerators that deliver measurable value to Life Sciences customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Life Sciences process blueprints and AI-native accelerators, and manage the feature lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration
• Identify manual processes and automation opportunities in HCP/HCO engagement, field force, clinical operations and revenue cycle
• Partner with customer-facing leaders to map requirements, build solution blueprints and workflow automations with Agentforce and LSC, and validate them against customer acceptance criteria
• Translate requirements into PRDs, user stories and technical acceptance criteria, manage the product backlog and run sprints with Agile methods
• Document solution architecture, demonstrations and implementation guidelines, including Steel Thread validation for go-live readiness
• Run user interviews and quantitative analysis, act as the voice of the Life Sciences customer, and give feedback to Product Managers and Product Engineering
• Work with Engineering and Design, and support rollout and enablement with Hub teams, GDC delivery resources and SI partners (Deloitte, Slalom and others)

Required profile

• 3 to 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Process Automation, Business Analysis or Solutions Consulting
• Experience building or deploying external-facing products in enterprise B2B SaaS environments
• Strong understanding of workflow mapping, process modeling and process improvement, applied in Life Sciences or a regulated industry
• Proven experience turning business requirements into structured automated workflows
• Excellent communication and proven collaboration with virtual, global cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with automation tools, workflow builders, AI prompting or low/no-code platforms
• Preferred: Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud (LSC), Agentforce, prompt design, and knowledge of APIs, platform services and Data Cloud
• Preferred: GxP, HIPAA and GDPR awareness, and Lean, Six Sigma or similar certification
