About the role

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineering Manager within PwC's Tax practice, you will lead the creation of innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and improve business performance. You will combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver products that enhance user experiences and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery.
• Guide teams in coding, testing, and integrating applications, ensuring high‑quality user experiences.
• Oversee API management, application development, and software design to produce robust solutions.
• Coordinate integration of enterprise applications and verify seamless system functionality.
• Analyze system interactions to optimize performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior staff, promote continuous learning, and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Collaborate with client support teams to resolve software‑related issues efficiently.
• Implement CI/CD practices to streamline development processes.
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative methodologies.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage client accounts, and deliver projects on time.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop team members.
