Forward Deployed Software Engineering – Experienced Associate

About the role

As an Experienced Associate in Forward Deployed Software Engineering at PwC, you will design, build and test innovative software solutions that support the firm’s Tax practice and drive digital transformation for clients. You will work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality applications that improve performance and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Design, code, test and deploy solutions that enable digital transformation for tax‑related services.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Perform code reviews, quality‑assurance testing and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and release processes.
• Manage APIs and integrate enterprise applications to enhance system interoperability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimise performance and user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in software development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience with API Management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.
• Understanding of Object‑Oriented Design principles.
