Forward Deployed Pharmacist

About the role

Asepha is building AI‑driven tools to streamline medication prescribing, verification, and support. As a Forward Deployed Pharmacist you will work directly with real pharmacy workflows, ensuring clinical accuracy while helping shape the next generation of AI‑powered pharmacy products.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI outputs, handle exceptions, and translate workflow gaps into product improvements.
• Maintain clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety by embedding guardrails around USP, REMS, payer policies, etc.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and external pharmacy/health‑tech partners to launch new products.
• Troubleshoot customer workflow issues, resolve what you can, and provide detailed context to engineering for remaining problems.
• Participate in client check‑ins, gather feedback, and convert it into actionable product requirements.
• Contribute clinical expertise to internal playbooks, support documentation, and help close the loop between support and product teams.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy with 1‑4 years of US pharmacy experience (specialty, community, or hospital).
• Hands‑on operational mindset, detail‑oriented, and strong communication skills.
• Startup mentality: bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to iterate quickly.
• Basic familiarity with US insurance systems; preference for candidates in New York or Toronto, hybrid work model.
