Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Join Replit’s Forward Deployed Engineer team to work directly with large enterprise customers, turning ambitious ideas into production applications on the Replit platform.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers to design and build high‑impact AI‑powered applications and workflows, taking projects from concept to production.
• Architect secure, scalable solutions that integrate Replit with existing systems, data warehouses, APIs, identity providers, and infrastructure.
• Own technical deployments, troubleshoot blockers, and drive projects to successful adoption.
• Translate field insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production software.
• Strong programming ability to work across unfamiliar codebases, APIs, and technical environments.
• Experience with LLM‑based applications, retrieval, tool calls, and evaluation.
• Proven ability to design, own, and ship complex technical systems.
