Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

LiteLLM is the world’s most popular AI Gateway, trusted by companies such as Adobe, Netflix, and NASA. We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own customer success, work directly with our most important accounts, and help developers successfully adopt our open‑source AI gateway.

Key responsibilities

• Own the 30 most important accounts and drive them to success.
• Serve as the technical point of contact, ensuring issues are resolved and maintaining regular communication.
• Prevent churn by proactively identifying risk, improving usage, and preparing customers for renewal.
• Surface technical gaps and opportunities to influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with the product team to drive roadmap decisions based on customer feedback.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of the LiteLLM product.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset focused on making developers successful.
• Passion for solving root causes rather than applying quick patches.
• Excellent written communication and high responsiveness (Slack‑first).
• Ability to work autonomously, set own backlog and priorities.
• Strong bias toward deep problem understanding.
