Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Remote US, COL, UK)

About the role

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer you will partner directly with enterprise clients to design, build, and scale production‑grade AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will work across the full AI engineering lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and operationalization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy production AI applications, copilots, retrieval systems and agentic workflows.
• Build backend services, APIs and multi‑agent systems that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise data platforms, messaging systems and business applications.
• Deploy containerised solutions on Kubernetes, ensuring security, observability, monitoring, evaluation and governance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional client teams—including engineering, data, product, architecture, security and business stakeholders—to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute reusable frameworks, accelerators and thought‑leadership assets to strengthen the AI Engineering practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
• 1+ years designing and deploying AI/ML solutions into production.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• API frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Spring Boot.NET, Express.
• AI development tools: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, Cursor, GitHub Copilot.
• MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, CI/CD, version control, testing and code review practices.
