Forklift Driver – 1st Shift – Columbus

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Driver to join our Columbus distribution center on the first shift. You will operate electric powered industrial trucks to move merchandise throughout the warehouse, supporting a variety of departments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate electric powered industrial trucks (order picker, reach truck, sit‑down forklift) to pick, pull, stack and move boxes up to 50 lb.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure safe operation.
• Support multiple areas including receiving, returns, picking, packing, shipping and value‑added services.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety policies and lean processes.

Required profile

• At least 6 months experience operating an order picker (cherry picker); reach‑truck or forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
• Comfort working at heights and using personal protective equipment.
• Strong counting and detail‑orientation skills.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb regularly.
