Foreign Disclosure Representative - MID

About the role

Amentum provides warning and all-source analytical support to DIA's Defense Combating Terrorism Office, including national watchlisting support to the TIDE database, expert assessments for the Pentagon and Joint Staff, and 24/7 support to DoD and international partners on transnational and regional terrorist threats. This Foreign Disclosure Representative (MID) prepares and processes foreign disclosure requests, reviews products for release, and advises on disclosure policy and procedures. The schedule is the first shift, 8 hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Apply National Disclosure Policy-1 and IC guidance, including CAPCO classification guidance, to foreign disclosure requests.
• Prepare and process disclosure requests, propose recommendations to the Government, and review products for accurate security classification and release.
• Verify that all sources are cited according to the Sourcing Defense Intelligence Analysis guide, that the classification authority block is complete, and that in-text characterizations have corresponding citations unless sanitization is required.
• Maintain archives of disclosure requests and adjudications, respond to data requests, and track decisions on disclosure.
• Produce responses to FOIA requests and submit products for publication in CORE, linking them to NCTC Current and disseminating warning products.

Required profile

• Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Education: high school or GED; preferred bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience: 5 years minimum, with 8 years preferred, including recent experience in the last 2 years.
• Understanding of the 200 Series of ODNI ICDs (203, 206, 208).
• Ability to write strategic counterterrorism and all-source intelligence assessments and use research databases such as the Global Terrorism Database.
