Foot & Ankle Sales Associate - Chicago

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Foot & Ankle Sales Associate in Chicago, Illinois, with primary training in the Chicago, Bloomington or Urbana area. The role offers hands-on experience in Foot and Ankle medical device sales, working directly with surgeons, healthcare professionals and experienced sales leaders. Training takes place in the posted territory, and candidates must be willing and able to relocate anywhere in the United States after completing training.

Key responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures by making sure products, instruments and implants are available and ready for case coverage.
• Educate surgeons, nurses and operating room staff on product use, functionality, updates and best practices.
• Visit customers in the assigned territory to support account needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Partner with Sales Representatives to build relationships with healthcare providers and support territory growth.
• Present product features, functionality and differentiators to customers.
• Manage inventory levels, build and maintain surgical instrument sets and ensure product availability.
• Process customer purchase orders and support documentation and invoicing.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations and federal, state and local requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; or an associate degree or healthcare-related certification (e.g., Certified Surgical Technologist, Physical Therapy certification) with at least 2 years of professional or related experience; or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of professional or related experience; or 4 years of active-duty military service.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the United States after training.
• 40% travel.
