Food Service Coordinator – In‑School Operations

About the role

The Food Service Coordinator, in‑school, supports the Head Chef and a small team to ensure meals are prepared on time, with dignity, and meet school needs. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday and focuses on smooth operations between kitchen staff and school partners.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure meals are served on time in compliant portions daily and maintain a clean service line.
• Proactively share information between kitchen and school teams, resolve conflicts, and keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain operational systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and meal compliance.
• Create accountability checks for consistent data management and address day‑of concerns with school partners.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to solve same‑day operational issues.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in an operational or administrative role supporting cross‑functional teams.
• 1+ year in a customer‑facing role preferred.
• Strong communication skills, acute attention to detail, and passion for improving school nutrition.

Required skills

• Experience tracking, prioritizing, and driving multiple projects.
• Ability to maintain accurate databases and operational systems.
