About the role
Ocean Spray is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Technician to work the night shift on a 2‑2‑3 schedule at its Breinigsville, PA plant. The role focuses on ensuring product quality and food‑safety standards are met while supporting manufacturing staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform quality testing, analysis, and review to verify production meets quality and schedule standards.
- Train and support manufacturing personnel in quality systems to maximize product quality.
- Initiate problem‑solving activities for quality‑parameter issues.
- Maintain continuous training, record‑keeping, and food‑safety practices within the plant.
- Act as point‑of‑contact for food‑safety and quality concerns in the absence of the Quality Manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Food Sciences or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in a food‑manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Strong mathematical ability for quality‑related calculations.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
