Electromechanical Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

The Electromechanical Technician provides engineering support for plant equipment on a night‑shift schedule (6 PM – 6 AM, 2‑2‑3). You will troubleshoot and repair automated and electromechanical systems, drive process‑improvement projects, and assess equipment needs while identifying training opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide self‑directed support in a fast‑paced environment, sustaining operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex automation equipment such as PLCs, I/O, HMI, Ethernet communication, servos, motors and VFDs.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement projects focused on sustainability, cost savings, quality or throughput.
• Document process and equipment parameter changes in the facility CMMS.
• Perform engineering‑level assessments of equipment and recommend changes to management.
• Expand skills through training in controls, productivity and throughput programs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting automation and electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of control‑system principles, failure modes, blending and packaging operations.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs and PFDs.
• Experience with CMMS and SCADA systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
