Food Production Line Worker ($1200 Bonus)

About the role

The Food Production Line Worker is responsible for a variety of tasks on a fast‑paced food manufacturing floor. The role demands high attention to detail, strict adherence to safety and food‑safety standards, and the ability to work accurately while meeting key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Load raw material into cooking equipment.
• Process cooked material according to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality defects throughout the line.
• Pack finished products into boxes and place boxes on pallets.
• Perform re‑work using scales to ensure precision.
• Adjust and supply machines as needed.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Sanitize equipment and production areas when assigned.
• Carry out any additional tasks as directed.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; food‑manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for up to 12 hours.
• Lift up to 10 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 30 °F to 100 °F or higher.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work in an allergen‑containing environment.
• Communicate in English or Spanish, or follow instructions with a translator.
• Team‑player with a positive, service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sanitation SOPs (SSOP).
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazard Communication (HazCom), confined‑space safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
