Follow-up Specialist

About the role

Career Team is seeking a Follow-up Specialist to provide virtual follow-up services to former participants of the Workforce One-Stop system. The role focuses on ensuring employment success, retention, and accurate documentation of post-program outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual follow-up with former job-seeker customers to support employment retention and re-employment.
• Engage at-risk customers in job search activities and provide referrals as needed.
• Re-establish contact with non-responsive customers and verify post-participation employment status.
• Document all follow-up activities, case notes, and outcome data in the state’s case management system.
• Enter post-program employment and education information and ensure verification documents are attached.
• Meet or exceed program benchmarks and participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to build and maintain positive virtual relationships with former job-seeker customers and their employers.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with a diverse customer base.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
