F&O Business Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

The Finance & Operations Business Analyst will partner with the Finance business unit to understand current and future needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365. This hybrid position works closely with the Business Systems Director and the D365 Solution Architect to improve efficiency and accuracy of finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document finance and operations requirements.
• Configure and customise D365 financial modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.) to align with business needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision‑making.
• Develop and execute test cases, validate data and ensure quality.
• Provide training, create documentation and support end‑users on D365 functionalities.
• Collaborate with IT, finance and operations teams for successful integration.
• Generate financial reports, dashboards and KPIs.
• Analyse, track and remediate root causes of defects.
• Lead testing documentation, work with QA and drive waste reduction.
• Act as Business Analyst lead on assigned projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst in finance/operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance (tax, Avalara) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or BA) preferred.
