Fluid Management Site Manager (First Shift Technician)

About the role

Brenntag provides Fluid Management and Engineering Services for aerospace, automotive, medical, precision bearing and defense industries, helping customers improve part quality, machine uptime, tool life and operating costs. The position is a first-shift technician at a client's Keene, NH manufacturing facility, working about 40-45 hours per week. The Site Leader/Fluid Technician reports to the Brenntag Program and Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fluid sampling for concentration control using a refractometer and titration
• Maintain the Fluid Management Dashboard and communicate findings and recommendations to the customer management team
• Communicate fluid recharge needs to the maintenance team lead and coordinate fluid changeouts with maintenance
• Manage inventory, purchase fluids and provide metalworking concentrates to the customer
• Monitor lubricant additions, maintain the fluids and lubricant storage area and support the production of jet engines, helicopters and airplane landing gear

Required profile

• Engineering degree required; Chemical Engineering preferred
• US citizen, passing background/security check and drug test
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work with all levels of client personnel, from operators to plant management
• Hard-working, follows direction, works independently and manages detail
• Environmental, health and safety training provided

Required skills

• Experience handling metalworking/manufacturing fluids and machine lubricants preferred, not required
• Six Sigma certification or similar experience preferred
• No electrical or hydraulic knowledge required
