Floor Leader

About the role

Everlane is looking for a Floor Leader in Georgetown to lead a team that embodies the brand's ethos and delivers a best-in-class store experience. The role is customer-focused, energetic and collaborative, working closely with the store leadership team to drive business results.

Key responsibilities

• Make timely, effective decisions that balance team goals with a customer-focused environment
• Create a sense of urgency in the team, remove obstacles and motivate people to give their best
• Use feedback and reflection to understand personal strengths and weaknesses and contribute more to the team
• Lead the team so the service model comes to life in-store
• Zone, prioritize and delegate tasks by zone according to business needs
• Set goals, coach and motivate the team, give in-the-moment feedback and celebrate successes
• Perform hourly reads, update the team on goals and results, and share results and anecdotal feedback with store leadership
• Keep the store clean and organized for everyone's health and safety

Required profile

• 1-2 years of leadership experience
• Proven track record of hiring, leading and developing store teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work closely with the rest of the store leadership team
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds, and to move around all areas of the store
• A fan of Everlane, its products and values
