Floating Service Technician – Reedhouse

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Floating Service Technician to join the Reedhouse team in Boise. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring they meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete repairs, including appliance fixes.
• Prepare apartments for new move‑ins through the make‑ready process.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Assist with vendor management and coordinate external services.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative tasks on equipment.

Required profile

• Experience with safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Background in painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
