Floating Maintenance Technician (Kent & Tacoma)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Floating Maintenance Technician to service a portfolio of properties in Kent and Tacoma. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing repairs, and ensuring all building areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, including appliance repairs.
• Prepare apartments for new move‑ins by executing the “make‑ready” process.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Assist with vendor management and coordinate external service providers.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building equipment.

Required profile

• Experience using hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment safely.
• Background in painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair and basic plumbing.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
