Floating Community Manager

About the role

The Floating Community Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned residential property. You will lead the on‑site team, oversee daily activities, and manage resources to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the property’s budget by analyzing financial statements, reviewing marketing data, and monitoring performance trends.
• Set rent rates, ensure timely rent and fee collection, and post payments accurately.
• Oversee leasing activities, resident relations, and community events to maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Greystar’s internal policies.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor services, and capital projects to keep the property in optimal condition.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property or community management experience.
• Strong understanding of multi‑family housing regulations and financial management.
