Flight Test Change Management Engineer

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a Flight Test Change Management Engineer to manage the change management process for experimental and certification aircraft. The role ensures traceability and auditability of configuration changes across PLM, ERP, and as‑maintained databases.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product design and flight‑test changes, assessing hardware, software, and test‑asset impacts.
• Coordinate review and approval of design and flight‑test changes, maintaining configuration traceability.
• Author and maintain procedures for change management, instrumentation, and asset configurations.
• Apply change management principles within PLM tools (e.g., 3DXperience) and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in aerospace or a regulated design/manufacturing environment.
• BS in engineering, quality, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of configuration management processes and familiarity with SAE‑649.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Configuration management and change management principles.
• PLM tools (3DXperience, Teamcenter) and ERP systems (SAP, Plex).
• 3D CAD software (Catia, Enovia preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel for product‑structure analysis.
