Fleet Coordinator

About the role

The Fleet Coordinator will support daily operations of ACCIONA's company‑owned vehicle and equipment fleet on the SR400 Express Lanes project in Atlanta, Georgia. This administrative and operational position ensures that all assets are available, compliant, well‑maintained, and correctly charged to project cost codes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance, service, and repairs for vehicles and equipment, tracking completion by staff or vendors.
• Maintain accurate records for each unit, including maintenance history, inspections, hours/mileage, and utilization.
• Manage titles, Manufacturer Certificates of Origin, annual registrations, renewals, and cancellations.
• Support equipment and tool transfers between yards, the project site, and other locations, keeping tracking systems up to date.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and local regulations; keep insurance cards, decals, and licensing current.
• Review and process invoices for maintenance, parts, and services, allocating costs to the correct cost codes.
• Create purchase documents, follow up on orders, confirm receipt of equipment, and verify invoice accuracy.
• Assist with quote analysis, specifications, and rates for new fleet additions or disposals.
• Prepare simple reports on fleet status, availability, maintenance, and costs for the Equipment Manager and project team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in fleet, equipment, or administrative support, preferably within construction.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
