Fixed Assets Accountant

About the role

Google’s Fixed Assets team is looking for an experienced accountant to manage the end‑to‑end accounting process for fixed assets, inventory and project sub‑ledgers. You will ensure accurate month‑end close, reconcile balance sheets and P&L accounts, and provide financial information for internal and external reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close tasks for fixed assets, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain and improve sub‑ledger systems for assets, inventory and projects.
• Lead feature requests, bug fixes and enhancements to increase team productivity.
• Prepare supplementary financial data for regulatory and management reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and communication skills with management.
