Fitness Trainer – Group Fitness Program

About the role

The Fitness Trainer will lead Planet Fitness's group fitness program (PE@PF), helping members achieve their personal goals through tailored workout plans and safe equipment usage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and run the PE@PF program, creating and following a class schedule.
• Consult with members about their fitness objectives and instruct proper, safe equipment use.
• Develop creative promotions to increase class sign‑ups.
• Produce bi‑weekly updates featuring a variety of exercises.
• Meet class frequency requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist front‑desk duties: answer phones, check‑in members, sign up new members, give tours, update account information, and address member inquiries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the club.

Required profile

• Honesty, strong work ethic, punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service with problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to listen, empathize and act diplomatically.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.
