Firearms Instructor (Part‑time)

About the role

United Defense Tactical is seeking a skilled Firearms Instructor to deliver part‑time tactical training to civilians, military personnel, and law‑enforcement officers. You will lead both simulator‑based and live‑fire sessions, ensuring participants gain practical, safety‑focused shooting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct members using UDT's threat‑based reality simulator.
• Teach force‑on‑force and self‑defence courses.
• Conduct individual and group firearms training covering safety, handling, and shooting techniques.
• Maintain training equipment, facilities, and a safe range environment.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with industry developments, new equipment, and training techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum three years experience as a firearms instructor or law‑enforcement officer.
• Ability to learn and follow UDT's extensive curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of firearm safety and handling protocols.
• Familiarity with a variety of firearms and their operation.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor range environment.
• Possession of all necessary certifications and licenses for instruction.
