Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager

About the role

Arden Engineering Constructors, LLC is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager to lead its Fire Protection Division in Pawtucket, RI. The role oversees fire sprinkler estimating, project execution, operations and client relationships, and drives financial performance, operational efficiency, contract administration, resource planning and team development so that projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, supervisors, field craft workers, vendors and subcontractors based on mutual respect and integrity.
• Organize and manage project documentation accurately, including procurement, change orders, subcontracts, materials and equipment.
• Oversee and manage the project budget for material and labor costs.
• Understand project specifications, plans and schedules, and the resources needed to complete the work on time.
• Manage project objectives, assess work quality, track progress, monitor personnel safety and attend project meetings.
• Monitor project performance and cost projections, and manage billings to maintain positive cash flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training and experience will be considered.
• 6-10 years of experience in fire protection project management, operations or a closely related construction leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop project teams.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, contract administration, scheduling and project execution.
• Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Sage Timberline or similar construction financial management software is strongly preferred.
