Financial Controller – US & Consolidation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic US Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our US entities and lead the consolidation process under US GAAP. The role will ensure accurate reporting, tax compliance and support senior management with financial guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and reports for US entities and consolidated statements under US GAAP.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Maintain compliance with all financial regulations, develop internal controls and mitigate financial risks.
• Lead external and internal audit processes and address audit findings.
• Oversee tax return preparation, tax compliance and develop tax optimisation strategies, including transfer pricing.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, loan portfolio and ensure covenant compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the US finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, CMA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in a multi‑entity international organisation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidation principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
