Financial Controller – Miami

About the role

Fragrance Du Bois, a luxury fragrance house, is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, treasury and financial planning for its U.S. operations. Reporting to senior leadership, the controller will ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls and provide strategic insights that support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Inventory accounting.
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations and lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and handle intercompany accounting and multi‑entity consolidations.
• Direct daily cash management, banking relationships and develop short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and rolling financial forecasts, providing scenario analysis.
• Partner with department heads to evaluate spending, profitability and investment opportunities.
• Monitor inventory valuation, reserves, obsolescence and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation across warehouses and third‑party logistics providers.
• Design, implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in luxury, beauty, fragrance, cosmetics or consumer‑goods sectors.
• Strong understanding of inventory‑driven businesses, wholesale and retail distribution models.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑entity financial structures and intercompany consolidations.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and treasury management.
