Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance function and drive the financial health of the organization. The role combines technical expertise with a collaborative approach, providing insights, building strong processes, and partnering with leadership on strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
• Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
