Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed organization to find a hands‑on Financial Controller. You will lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, delivering timely and accurate results.
• Prepare and review GAAP‑compliant financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Develop and enhance internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Partner with executive leadership and private‑equity stakeholders to provide financial insights.
• Manage external and internal audits, coordinating deliverables and auditor communication.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Drive process improvements and automation, emphasizing Excel‑based analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controller leadership.
• Experience in a private‑equity backed or high‑growth environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to manage teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Salary range $130,000‑$150,000 per year.
