Financial Controller – Global Finance Leader

About the role

Productive Playhouse is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its global finance function. In this high‑trust position you will own the financial engine, ensuring accurate reporting, cash‑flow management and strategic insight for a fast‑growing data and language services company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely, GAAP‑compliant financial statements and manage external audit coordination.
• Oversee cash‑flow, line‑of‑credit reporting and corporate filings.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support executive decision‑making.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate international accounting, tax compliance and board reporting.
• Partner with HR on benefits administration, including health insurance and 401(k) plans.
• Manage insurance renewals, workers’ compensation audits and business licenses.
• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5‑7+ years of financial management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and international financial compliance.
• High integrity, precision and accountability.
