Finance Shared Services Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Finance Shared Services Manager for a six‑month fixed‑term assignment, with the possibility of extension. Working remotely from the United States, you will lead the delivery of centralized finance operational support to IRC field offices, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely processing of key financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Financial Analysts and Shared Services staff, assigning tasks, monitoring workloads, and providing guidance on financial processes and coding compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for finance operational requests from local offices, prioritize and distribute tasks, and track timely completion.
• Oversee shared services activities such as accounts payable processing, donor invoicing support, reconciliations, month‑end close tasks, and budget uploads.
• Review completed work for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with IRC financial policies and donor requirements.
• Manage the review and upload of grant and program budgets into the financial system, ensuring alignment with donor and organizational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising finance staff and coordinating finance operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, donor invoicing, financial reconciliations, and budget management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with headquarters finance teams and local office leadership.
• Commitment to maintaining high‑quality financial support for field operations.
