Finance Operations Associate (Temporary)

About the role

Ascendis Pharma, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on Endocrinology, Rare Disease and Oncology, is hiring a Finance Operations Associate in Princeton. The role reports directly to the Director, Finance Operations and is a temporary contract.

Key responsibilities

• Support invoice processing and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support expense management, including auditing, accruals and training and support for the business.
• Support expense management mailboxes.
• Support the purchase order process, including creation, maintenance and training.
• Support the corporate credit card process, including issuance, maintenance and error handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with 1-3 years of related experience.
• Experience with IFRS, including accounting methods, reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations and revenue recognition.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple functional areas.
• Experience in the pharma/biotech industry is preferred.
