Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate – Financial Services

About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group within the Financial Services Team. The role will be based in one of several U.S. offices and will support financial institutions and corporations on a variety of complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with asset‑based commercial leasing and lending transactions.
• Support syndicated financing deals and related documentation.
• Handle general corporate contracting matters for financial services clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and agreements.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of post‑law school experience or a third‑year law student (post‑summer bar exam).
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Coursework in corporations, secured transactions, bankruptcy, or regulatory law preferred.
• Admission to the bar, or eligibility for admission, in the jurisdiction of the chosen office.
