Field Service Technician

About the role

XosXos is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and report on its electric trucks and related systems. The role is field‑based, covering the Eastern Region with frequent multi‑state and cross‑border travel, including trips to Canada. You will translate customer concerns into actionable technical issues and contribute to product quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and document quality and design concerns on Xos vehicles and components.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, software teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Perform low‑voltage (LV) and high‑voltage (HV) electrical diagnosis, controls troubleshooting, and module programming.
• Use volt‑ohm meters and interpret electrical schematics to identify root causes.
• Provide professional, face‑to‑face and remote customer support via phone and email.
• Complete accurate case notes, repair orders, and initiate new service cases as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style on‑site and remotely.
• Achieve training objectives and certifications assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency with high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Associate degree or vocational certificate in automotive service technology, or 4+ years relevant experience.
• ASE certifications are a plus; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (driving is essential).
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
