Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in connected home solutions, as a Field Service Professional. You will combine technical expertise with sales opportunity, installing cutting‑edge smart‑home equipment while helping customers upgrade to safer, more convenient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation equipment in residential properties.
• Assess customers’ homes and recommend upgrades or additional services that enhance safety and convenience.
• Provide hands‑on training to homeowners on how to operate their new smart‑home system.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure all equipment is licensed and compliant.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – comfortable identifying and presenting upgrade opportunities.
• Willingness to learn and follow comprehensive training and coaching programs.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and integration of home automation systems.
