Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs cutting‑edge smart‑home technology and helps customers protect and automate their residences. You will combine technical installation with on‑site consultative sales to deliver safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks and home automation systems in customers’ residences.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services that enhance safety and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on how to operate their new smart‑home equipment.
• Maintain company‑provided tools, tablet and vehicle, and record work completed in the field.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication and integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical installation skills; prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control or solar is helpful.
