Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s field team in Pasadena, TX, and become the face of cutting‑edge smart‑home technology. You will install, service, and troubleshoot devices while helping customers upgrade to more advanced solutions for a safer, more connected home.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with team leaders for continuous coaching and career growth.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical skills on the job; prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, or related fields is helpful.
