Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology for customers in the Dover area. You will combine technical know‑how with a consultative sales approach to deliver secure, connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation devices.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for safety.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Reliability and integrity when representing the brand in customers’ homes.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Home automation system setup and troubleshooting.
