Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional and become the face of cutting‑edge smart home technology. You will install, service, and troubleshoot advanced security and automation devices while helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Assess each home on‑site, recommend upgrades, and sell additional equipment or service plans.
• Educate homeowners on how to operate their new smart home systems effectively.
• Maintain company‑provided tools, vehicle, and licensing required for the job.

Required profile

• Strong sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with integrity and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Technical aptitude – prior experience in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; we train for skill.
