Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology for customers in Great Falls, MT. You will combine technical installation skills with consultative sales to deliver secure, connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety protocols.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication skills.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control, or solar is helpful.
